WELNEY PARISH COUNCIL are delighted to announce that this evening the Borough Council have granted full planning permission for the demolition of the existing pavilion and erection of a new Community Centre with Sports facilities, at the Playing Field at Welney.   Full details will be available in due course.

The Welney Allotments are now up and running on the field off Chestnut Avenue and at the present time have let 9 allotments.  We have space available for several more so if you are interested in taking an allotment for the sum of £35.00 per year, please contact us as soon as possible.  The field is in the process of being fenced and gated, and  allotments already let have been planted with some early vegetables, flowers and fruit bushes etc.

If you are interested in having an allotment please contact me as soon as possible.  If a full size allotment is likely to be too large for your requirements, we can possible make arrangements for a half size one to be available.  We will look forward to hearing from you.
